Duration:         12+ Months

Location:         Poway,CA

Job Description:

 

Duties / Responsibilities

Experience:

·         4+ years of experience managing Unix applications

·         4+ years of experience managing web servers Apache/Tomcat

·         Experience working with middleware and queuing technologies (Preferably IBM Web sphere MQ)

 

Requirement Details:

·         4+ years of experience managing Unix applications

·         Experience working with middleware and queuing technologies (Preferably IBM Web sphere MQ)

·         4+ years of experience managing web servers Apache/Tomcat

·         Capacity planning for new software releases

·         Very good conceptual understanding of Linux/AIX operating system

·         Very good conceptual understanding of load balancers (preferably F5)

·         New server provisioning including request generation and management

·         Reviews of server loads/performance and monitoring KPI

·         Software license management

·         Middleware patch management

·         Working Experience with Disaster Recovery plans

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Enterprise application support experience including product installation/patch deployment preferred. 

·         Well organized, detail oriented, self starter and able to work independently

·         Establish procedures and create documentation based on acquired knowledge.

·         Knowledge of scripting and automation, UNIX shell, PERL

·         24x7 pager support during on-call rotation.

·         4 years Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
