Design, Analysis, Creation, testing and modification of new SAS Source  codes and modifying existing one as required

$48/hr on CTC

Published Description:

  • Strong ERP experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (r12 (preferred) or 11i)
  • Strong Functional experience in WMS and Mobile Supply Chain
  • Strong Functional experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, and Purchasing
  • Strong experience in setups and configurations
  • Wholesale Distribution experience required
  • Requirements gathering
  • Full SDLC experience within a structured methodology (waterfall, etc.)
  • Testing (unit and user acceptance, test scripts, test plans, tools (such as Mercury))
  • Strong communication skills
  • Documentation
  • RUP Methodology  desired
  • Participate and lead requirements gathering and needs analysis with internal clients
  • Brainstorm and execute the delivery and maintenance of systems and applications
  • Manage, track and report timelines, milestones, tasks, risk, issues, and deliverables
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with continually evolving priorities
  • Primary role will be as a functional/analyst but must have strong technical skills

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: The Design, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and modification of new SAS program source codes and modifying the existing ones as needed.  Ensure strict adherence to NCQA HEDIS Standards and all programs meet audit requirements. 


REQUIREMENTS
           (E=Essential; D=Desired):

1.       BA/BS from an accredited 4-year college with a major in business administration, statistics, computer science, mathematics, decision support sciences, health care, or public health or an equivalent area of study or equivalent work experience in the health care field. (E)

2.       Minimum 3+ years' experience in SAS programming (intermediate to advanced level) and competent in MS Access, MS Excel, and Word applications. (E)

3.       Familiar with MS SQL query generation/programming. (D)

4.       A strong working knowledge of reading and understanding of technical specifications and program statements required to conduct HEDIS study. (E)

5.       Effective working knowledge of data dictionaries for internal and/or external files. (E)

6.       Knowledge or experience in healthcare industry/health care informatics. (D)

7.       Demonstrated working knowledge of, and hands-on skills with, database concepts and data processes required to extract data, develop programs, analyze results and support various projects. (E)

8.       Independent problem solving skills. (E)

9.       Resourcefulness and initiative to independently learn concepts and procedures within the department's needs with minimal instruction. (D)

10.   Proven and effective organization skills and interpersonal communication skills. (E)
