Req 1) Automation Tester
Req 2) Performance Tester
Location: Somers, NY
Duration: 3-6 months
Automation Resource: 1 Position
ü Lead CLIENT Test team in supporting any automated downtime testing initiatives and activities.
ü Will lead the team's Downtime Sunday and Automated Functional downtime testing day to day activities (liaison to Certification Leads, create scripts for applications, execute scripts, maintain coverage schedules, managing downtime Sunday automated test lab resources, report team's project status, etc).
ü Will work with CLIENT I/T teams to create test plans, automated test scripts that accurately validate and verify technical changes prior to production implementation.
ü Responsible for Automated Functional Testing technical issue; solution investigation and analysis are an ongoing responsibility.
ü Provide Quality Assurance, implementation, project management and operational support for CLIENT Downtime testing initiatives which will require extensive working knowledge of HP's Quick Test Professional (QTP), SQL, HP QTP Scripting (VBScript and Java) and integration to HP Quality Center.
ü Provide Ad Hoc IT Automated Functional Testing project support as needed. For example HA Failover tests, release upgrades and Disaster Recovery.
Performance Testing: 1 Position
ü This player owns the Performance Tool, Process, Scheduling and Team relationships.
ü Will partner with the Business, Application/Architecture Services, Data Services, Middleware Operations and Implementation teams to administer, develop, implement and maintain Performance Test Process for ensuring the quality of company applications prior to deployment.
ü Works closely with customer teams to enforce adherence to, and adoption of, the Performance Test Process and is a key player in the development life cycle.
ü Functions as a Subject Matter Expert that owns Performance Test Process.
ü Responsibilities include; Designing, Developing and Implementing Performance Test Scripts. It will include, working closely with Certification Leads, Architects, Project Managers, Business, Database Administrators and Application teams to identify and target performance issues.
ü Work will include writing formal test documentation including but not only Statements of Work and Summary Documents.
ü Knowledge of extracting information for scenario creation, manipulation and injection of data, system & performance monitoring is critical.
ü Tasks include; script design and creation, debugging and enhancement of scripts to make them modular, generic and reusable. Configuration of database and server monitors to capture performance and resource utilization information is a definite must.
ü Also required is the ability to work closely with Vendors to install new tools, upgrades and implement all applicable maintenance releases.
