Job Title: SSRS Developer

Location Boxborough, MA

Start Date: 5/21/2012 possibly sooner

Length of contract assignment 3+ months

 

Project Description:  My client is looking for a SSRS Developer to clear out a reporting backlog. The reports are based on Telecom services, and break down into 2 categories:

1) Service Order Reporting and

2) Installations.

 

These are inventory and accounting type reports using Solomon. They report on many attributes, for example: Design/ Salesperson/ Product/ Price/ Margin/Time of the Year/ Season of the Moon, etc. Ideally consultants will have experience in Financial Systems Reporting and Analysis.

 

Consultant's Day to day responsibilities:

1.   Working with current development team to alleviate Reporting backlog

2.   Creating Reports on Financial Systems (Solomon)

a.   Reports for Accounting/Inventory

                 i.      Service Order Reporting

                 ii.      Installations

b.   Financial Reporting including AP/AR and general ledgers

Technologies Involved? SSRS Development with SQL Development team

 

Required Skills:

Strong experience with SSRS

Experience with Financial Systems Reporting (They use Solomon, Great Plains is comparable)

Service Order and Workflow Reporting

Salespeople/ Product/ Price, etc

 

Desired Skills:

Experience with Solomon

Experience working on SSRS with telecommunications or work flow provider
