SAP BI Architecture
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 Year
We need a high powered SAP Consultant and this resource can be located anywhere in the US and work remotely, BUT, they MUST have excellent communication skills and candidates from TX are preferred
Technical requirements:
Ø 8-10 years SAP BI Architecture and Data Modeling experience Data Warehousing,
Business Intelligence, Data Services Architecture & solution, development and
operations,(through BW 7.0/BOBJ 4.0 preferred)
Ø 7 years Business Objects (BOBJ) experience designing and developing BPC Reports and
Dashboards
Ø 5 years using SAP BW development tools like BEx Analyzer, BEx Web, OLAP, MDX
and BW Administrator Workbench designing and developing BW Objects (InfoObjects,
DSO, InfoCubes, InfoPackages, InfoSources, Datasources, Extractors, Transfer
Rules, Update Rules)
ØMinimum of 2, large scale, BI full life cycle implementations, including Datamodelling,
extractions, data staging, loadings, transformations, and global reporting.
Ø Experience with multiple SAP modules including new dimension products such as BI,
MDM, CRM, SRM, Netweaver etc.
Ø Experience with BI Platforms (Micro Strategy, Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, DataStage,
Cognos, Business Objects, MS BI, SSIS, SSRS, etc).
Duties:
ØWork with business and functional teams to define and convert business requirements,
processes and designs into comprehensive, robust, efficient, scalable and stable BI
Solutions.
Ø working closely with the user community and IT to successfully architect, design, model,
implement, integrate, test and maintain BI and related applications.
Ø Leverage and support best practices in BI/DW solution and service delivery
Ø Design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and
dashboards, identifying KPIs to drive key business decisions.
Ø Design, configure, test and implement changes for new or changed business requirements.
Ø Document modifications to configuration.

Job Description: Working on development for several new products being released this year.
IT Software Engineer Specialist's are responsible for working with all phases of the systems lifecycle of an application development project. The individual must be qualified to code in Java/J2EE. Individual must also have familiarity of databases and database concepts including Sequel (SQL).
• Work effectively with users to gather requirements, design and develop applications.
• Works with all phases of the application lifecycle from analysis, coding, providing technological support to customers, testing and implementation.
• Gathers detailed user requirements and business process analysis data; conducts functional user interviews to document functional, system, customization, and data requirements and data sources; formulates system concepts and architecture, specifies requirements, and develops implementation approaches.
• Performs code fixes for documented defects, works as part of a collaborative team maintaining and enhancing multiple web applications.
• Provides timely testing harnesses and documentation to support and facilitate the release of a high-quality product. Creates required technical documentation.
• Continuously learns and applies best practices for application superiority and increased application performance while able to write and maintain elegant, maintainable source code.
• Provides technical/engineering support for existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
• Provides reasonable task and project cost/effort estimates.
• Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
• Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards.
Required Skills: Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate
Plus Skills: SQL
Java or MS Certifications
Familiarity and past work experience with programming, testing, web development, Object Oriented Development, Iterative Application Development methodology skills.
Security architecture and system life-cycle phases are recommended.
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently solving application software problems.
Strong leadership, teaming/interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are required.
