Job Title:  Database Developer/Analyst
Client:  Confidential
Location:  Memphis, TN
Duration:  3-12 Months +
Rate:  DOE
Start Date:  ASAP
Number of Openings:  1
 
Description:
• Provide development support for database design, optimization, maintenance and reporting for custom applications
 
Primary responsibilities:
• Develop/review/optimize current and future database design working with programmers to tune SQL code.
• Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts and stored procedures for applications and application support.
• Design and maintain business intelligence/analytical reporting solutions that will be integrated into the applications.
• Periodically provide client support for database performance tuning, troubleshooting and scalability analysis.
 
Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data modeling/relational database design and optimization.
• Strong knowledge in building business intelligence and reporting solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Database optimization experience and experience using database-monitoring/optimization tools.
• Application development experience with Object Pascal (Delphi) and .NET technologies a plus.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems (EMR/EHR) a plus.
 • MCDBA certification is a plus.
