Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: Telephonic + F2F The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years technology experience working on distributed platforms (UNIX or windows - though windows preferred). The candidate must have demonstrated extensive capability as a developer in distributed environments over the 5+ year period in C# and C++. Candidate would work on a backend equity/option trading system for our StreetSmart platform, which is mostly written in C++, with the possibility on working on project work for new systems that will be written in C#. Position requires experience working in an enterprise architecture environment within .net framework using C# and XML. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concept. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology or other iterative development methodologies is a plus. Specific technical skills to be defined by the Manager. Work will specifically in the backend trading system for Active investor clients trading equities and options. Knowledge and experiece with messaging bus/request reply bus messaging a plus. Experience in trading or financial services a plus
