We are seeking a mid-level BIZTALK Programmer Analyst to handle the support and development of HL7 BizTalk interfaces, and other integration as needed. This is a contracting opportunity with great potential for extensions.
This position analyzes, designs, develops, and supports interface solutions between internal and external inhous/vendor applications that extend across the enterprise.

Essential Tasks:
Develop, maintain and support the interfaces within the Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE).
Provide ongoing support on all production interfaces (on-call problem resolution) as required.
Understand and maintain a knowledge of IS strategy and how it supports the business, as well as business knowledge of interfaces being supported.
Analyzes business requirements and develops design specifications to meet business requirements.
Perform and/or assist with integration testing.
Develop, maintain and support the interfaces within the Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE).

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Computer Science, or equivalent engineering degree
2+ years of experience developing HL7 interfaces in the BizTalk interface engine.
1-2 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry.
HL7 certification recommended
