Job Title:- .Net Developer

Location:- Texas City, TX

 

1.       Development skills within .NET (3+years)

2.       Applications support experience

3.       Experience serving in a BA function, gathering requirements, etc... although does not have to been called a Business Analyst before, but should be very comfortable in this space and interacting with users.

Client is looking for someone to do development, business analysis and applications support.

This person will:

·         Be an onsite contact for local application support, IT questions, and future needs

·         Support existing local refinery applications through resolving problems or developing new enhancements/upgrades.

·         Work with business clients and the IT Services team to identify opportunities for automation, cost savings or productivity savings by delivering value-added IT solutions.

·         Analyze, design, develop, test, modify, implement and support applications or systems, including in-house developed or purchased applications for local site.

·         Work with IT Business Analysts, Developers and Integrators at the other sites and corporate development groups to promote application standardization across refining sites and corporate business groups.

·         Actively participate in the Refining IT Business Analyst / Integrator Team, leading efforts to complete team goals.

·         Identify and document applications and their source code in TFS.

·         Work with vendors to identify licensing and application support necessary to allow users to continue business after change in control.

·         Maintain compliance with change management protocols and assisted clients with the review of application policies.

·         Coordinate and implement upgrades of locally supported 3rd party software.

·         When required, take ownership of the Software Introduction Process for new or upgraded 3rd party software that needs to be packaged for MPC's managed workstation environment.
