I have an immediate opening for ASP.NET/C# Development in Houston, TX

1. ASP.NET/C# Development - 6+ years
2. UI Development Experience - 5+ years
3. SQL Server Development - 5+ years
Preferred: Records Management Systems Experience (Accutrac)
Client is seeking a skilled ASP.NET User Interface (UI) Developer to assist with a re-write of a web application as well as enhancements to a physical records management system called Accutrac. Accutrac is a 3rd party system; however, through the years Client has heavily customized it to add vital functionality. Client has plans to upgrade or implement a new system as this system is older and becoming difficult to maintain. In the meantime, they need to rewrite the integrating application (currently in .NET 2.0 - upgrading to 4.0) and they need to take care of several enhancements to the Accutrac system (there is currently a large backlog).
The 30 or so enhancements consist of backend database development and possibly some UI .NET development.
The ideal candidate will have strong GUI/Front-end Development experience (specifically experience rewriting systems) as well as strong SQL Development experience (queries, scripting, SSIS, DTS, stored procs, indexes), and data loading.
They would also prefer candidates who have worked with records management systems prior (blue mountain e.g.), but not required.
After the enhancements are completed, this resource will likely be asked to stay on to assist with the upgrade/new product implementations project, extending the contract.
