Position : 1

Jobtitle : AIX Administrator
Location: Austin, TX
Duration : 6+ Months Contract

 

Required skills:
8 years of Installation/administration of AIX in an enterprise environment
5 years of Installation/administration of IBM enterprise storage (SVC, DS8xxx)
Must have Certification or Equivalent: IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - AIX" and/or "Certified Systems Expert – AIX" (or clearly demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge)

 

Preferences: (Optional) 
5 years of Cisco SAN fabric knowledge

 

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Expert-level knowledge/experience with installation, administration, tuning, performance and maintenance of enterprise AIX/Power architecture, infrastructure and systems including LPARs, NIM, PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, LVM, LPM, MPIO, VLAN, SVC, security and related enterprise-grade technology knowledge necessary for highly available, redundant systems.  Strong working-knowledge of IBM enterprise storage technologies including SAN Volume Controllers and DS-series disk systems is necessary.

Jobtitle : Storage Administrator
Location: Austin, TX
Duration : 6+ Months Contract

 

Minimum skills required:
8 years of Installation/administration of enterprise storage
5 years of Installation/administration of IBM DS series storage
5 years of Installation/administration of IBM SAN Volume Controllers/Clusters
5 years of Installation/administration of SAN Fabrics (Cisco/Brocade edge switches/directors)
 
Must have:
Certification or Equivalent  IBM Certified Specialist - Enterprise Storage Technical Support V3" and/or "IBM Certified Specialist - System Storage DS8000 Technical Solutions V3" (or clearly demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge).
 
Preferences:(Optional) Years Skill/Experience (as applicable)
5 years of Installation/administration of IBM V7000 storage
5 years of Installation/administration of Netapp storage
