Job Description
The ideal candidate will serve as a Business
Intelligence analyst with some functional skills within the SAP FI/COPA
modules; understand the analytics (dashboard) requirements from the executives
at a depth sufficient to translate the requirements into dashboards to be able
to view on PCs as well as mobile devices Responsibilities - Work collaboratively with business
executives to understand the analytics requirements specifically in
creating interactive dashboards for financial and other functional area
reports - Translate analytical requirements into
necessary design documents - Create interactive dashboards, graphs
using SAP BO (BOBJ, Xcelsius, Webi etc…) for regular PCs as well as mobile
devices such as iPad, mobile phones using analytics tools such as RAOMBI
or other compatible tools - Identify issues with current star
schema and provide solutions to fit the BI dashboard reporting - Document analytics training material
and operational documents - Support business users by providing
training on the usage of dashboards and analytics and clarify questions as
needed Experience - Experienced in understanding financial, sales, HR and other business critical analytics requirements and model the graphical representation in the form of trends etc… using dashboards
- Experienced in creating necessary dashboards using business objects by leveraging already created BEx queries
- Experienced in leveraging business objects output and publish the dashboards on mobile devices (iPad, Windows tablet etc…) by using analytics tools such as Roambi or other compatible ones
- Excellent data analysis and data modeling skills within SAP and non-SAP systems
- Experience building both standard and custom BW solutions including the design of BW Info Cubes, data extraction, transformation and loading into BW from SAP
- Knowledge and experience with the tables, data in the SAP system and the ability to write complex queries
- Good understanding of SAP modules FI/CO/PA
- Experienced in functional and technical specification development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must Have - 3 to 5 years' experience with BW reporting, BEx Analyzer, business intelligence concepts and methods
- 3 to 5 years of BOBJ (BOBJ, Web Intelligence) and other industry standard analytics tools experience including ability to create the dashboards on a mobile devices
- Strong ability to convert executive analytics requirements into graphical views such as dashboards
- 5+ years of SAP industry experience
- Writing complex business documentation
- Data Modeling/Data Analysis
- Understanding of SAP modules FI/CO/PA
- Experience in accounting & financial reporting in BI
Education - 4-Year College Degree, BS/BA in
Information Technology, MIS, Business, or a related discipline |
