Job Title: Java Developer
Location:  Austin, TX
Duration: 3-4 years

 

Rate :$45-48/hr on C2C.

 

Overview:
Our client is starting the development of a new web based application which take a legacy application and modernize it using Java and an industry leading framework, a customer relation management system, business intelligence and document management tools.   It will also include mobile and text interfaces.  

 

We are seeking Java developers with experience building large scale web based applications.   The developers will begin immediately during the requirements phase of the project and will remain through the completion of the first phase of the project in 2015.   Upon completion the next phase will begin and the developers will continue through the completion of that phase of work. 

 

Required Skills/Experience:
8 years of experience
Java/JEE development skills
Struts
Object-oriented analysis and design
SQL and Relational Database Management System       

 

Experience with
Configuration Management Systems (CMS)
Eclipse IDE ,  JBOSS
Experience in writing Webservice consumers and producers using JAXB/CXF
Unit testing tools , methodologies , scripts , test driven development (TDD)
Prefer prior public sector experience
