Role : Jr .net developer
Length: 3 months + (Its initially a 3 month contract but could go longer based on how performance goes.)
Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Rate $40
The Software Developer will be responsible for developing standalone user interface to support existing laboratory instrument. As a developer you will work on creating standalone graphical user interface for one of our system supporting Lab Instrument. Provide work estimates, identify risks and dependencies for new systems, implementation plans for enhancements, defect fixes.
Mandatory Technical Requirements:
***Minimum 4 years' experience with:
***Track record of creating standalone graphical user interface using C#.
***Ability to understand and use existing software API.
***Good understanding of Object Oriented principles.
• Experience in full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, software development, configuration, testing and deployment to production.
• Demonstrate experience working with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) programming and XAML.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems.
• Translate user interface requirement to software prototypes and present them in meetings.
• Familiarity with GIT or similar subversion system to maintain code.
• Ability to document all code and system usage.
Other Requirements
• Experience programming automated scientific laboratory equipment is a plus.
• Robotic control software experience is plus.
• Experience in Agile development.
Educational Requirement
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject/work experience
