I have an urgent requirement from one of my esteem client, I will appreciate if you can have an eye on the below requirement and send me your consultant updated profile ASAP.
Position: QA Automation Engineer – QTP / UFT
Location – San Francisco, CA
Duration – 6 months
Primary Responsibilities & Essential Duties:
· Perform automation feasibility analysis, and conduct proof-of-concept evaluation and demo for different systems.
· Perform test automation and service testing utilizing testing tools such UFT/QTP, Selenium
· Work closely with QA-TCOE Automation Architect to implement, maintain and improve the library of reusable functions in the enterprise automation framework.
· Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts according to the Automation Framework developed by the QA-TCoE Test Automation Architect.
· Provide technical assistance to other Automation Engineers regarding the enterprise Automation Framework.
· Determine functional areas and test cases which are good candidates for automation.
· Provide test automation status and execution results to Test Lead, Test manager and other project team members.
· Participate in the constant improvement of test automation best practices
· Work closely with QA team members, developers and other project team members in the process of automation.
· Participate in source code control, bug tracking, and software release activities as required for automation
· Ensure adherence to the QA-TCoE Test automation processes and standards.
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with industry leading test automation tools like, HP-QuickTestPro, HP Unified Functional Testing UFT, HP-QC
• Solid knowledge of SQL, VB Scripting
• Minimum of 7 years in the Information Technology field, focusing on Quality Assurance testing and automation testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Database testing experience with SQL is a plus
