Position : Oracle DBA

Location: San Diego, CA(Locals) for F2F

Duration: 12+ Months

 

 

Job Description:

 

Experience: 4-6 years

Installation/cloning/maintenance of Oracle database on Linux & AIX Good knowledge in troubleshooting RAC issues Logical/Physical Backups using EXPDP/IMPDP and RMAN Implementing and maintaining Data guard standby Expertise in performance tuning

Oracle Binaries installation & database creation

Oracle 11g R2 RAC Cluster Build, Configuration & Maintenance

Backup and Recovery strategies using RMAN
Database upgrades (10g-11g, 11g-12c)  Database migration using RMAN, DUPLICATE, EXPDP/IMPDP

Knowledge on Patching (PSU & one-off) & conflict resolution

Flashback recovery features

Exposure to Dataguard setup & Maintenance

Knowledge on Oracle 12c Grid

Comfortable with performance tuning techniques

User, Space & Capacity management
