Visa Status: GC / USC / TN / E3 / GC-EAD / L2-EAD / H1B
Mandatory Skills:
1. Requires 7-8 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas
a. Release engineer role
b. Test environment support
c. Knowledge of SVN/sub version or other SCM tools
d. Unix/shell/Perl/Phython scripting
e. Middleware support [Web Sphere (preferably), web logic etc]
f. Application build tools like ANT/Maven/Jenkins
g. Relational databases like SQL/Oracle(preferred)
h. Knowledge of file transfer mechanism (ConnectDirect, SCP, SFTP, etc..)
2. Strong and proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot databases
3. Good knowledge on issue/problem reporting or managing systems like JIRA etc.
4. Advanced troubleshooting and deductive reasoning skills
5. Ability to converse in both technical and non-technical terms
6. Ability to show experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully
7. Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Ability to develop strong client relationships
Responsibilities include:
1. Deploying applications globally, coordinating in controlled environments using Chef
2. Configuring SVN distributed platform for multiple applications and automating builds using Jenkins or other tools
3. Define a process for regulated SVN code control and builds
4. Creating branches to support parallel development
5. Responsible for Code control and resolving merge conflicts

8. Develop all necessary Unix/build scripts required for deployment automation etc.
9. Engage and schedule functional resources in support of deployment, implementation and verification.
10. Acquire final approvals from QA and the LOB for application deployments

12. Coordinate overall deployments, create deployment documents, release plans and run books
