Job title     :   Sr. SAP APO-PPDS (Production Planning-Detailed Scheduling) Consultant
Location    :   Akron, OH
Duration   :    7+ months
Rate            :   + expenses

 

Additional Notes:  First 2 weeks of assignment are to be on-site in Akron, OH. Remaining time on assignment is to be remote (work from

home) with occasional travel to Akron, OH and various other sites – all expenses paid

 

Job Responsibilities:
Senior Technical and Functional SAP APO PPDS (Production Planning Detailed Scheduling) consultant. Consultant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Configure Production Planning Detailed Scheduling
Documentation and training end users
Guide and educate the customer as to the appropriate decisions for configuration and business practices
Consultant must have experience in SAP APO PPDS 7.0
Consultant must have senior level skills in both technical configuration and best practices for business functionality.
Consultant must understand upstream and downstream impact of configuration and functionality to other modules such as ECC and SNP

 

Skill Set:
Core competencies should include but are not limited to:
SAP APO PP/DS 7.0
In depth understanding of R/3 Master Data and how it drives PPDS planning results (relationship) – at least 3-5 years experience in PP/DS.
Experience with PPDS Product Data Structures
Experience in modeling continuous input/output relationships between product and component
Understanding of PPDS Heuristics (functionality, application)                                                                                                                            
Alert Management
Reporting
Core Interface
Integration Knowledge of PPDS with ECC, SNP, DP, GATP
Strong business knowledge of the S&OP process and integration with DP functionality                                           
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BI Experience is a Plus

5 Years APO, 10 Years SCM
