Location    :    Orlando, FL
Duration    :    6 months
Rate           :   $50/Hr

 

Primary Skills:
Linux Admin, Shell Scripting, Automation, Network Management (needs to be sharp)

 

Description:
Looking for strong Linux administrators for a network/infrastructure management firm in the media:
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in managing multi-vendor Linux server system installations
- 3+ years working knowledge of Linux file systems (nfs/zfs),backup methodologies, device configuration, systems logging and exception diagnosis
- 3+ years demonstrated knowledge of Perl, PHP and Linux shell programming techniques as related to Internet applications design, network management and Linux systems management. In addition, 2 years of working knowledge of UNIX systems utilities (e.g., bash, sh, sed, awk, rcs, and svn.)
- 3+ years working knowledge of the IP protocol suite, specifically relating to the applications and services that run above these protocols: SSH, NNTP, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, HTTP/HTML, FTP
