Job Description:
Deploy Web products built on the Microsoft stack, including Windows Server 2003 (IIS 6.0) or Windows Server 2008 (IIS7.0 or 7.5). Author internal documentation, such as environment diagrams, installation/configuration documents and release notes. Assist in establishing and implementing configuration management program and policies. Troubleshoot and debug environment and infrastructure problems found in the production and non-production environments. Assist in the management and support of product integration services with multiple business partners, including real-time web services and batch processing. Automate systems monitoring tasks ing standard monitoring tools.Troubleshoot and support corporate operations such as corporate Web sites, SFTP sites, ticketing system sites, test management suite and SMTP services. Manage and control the continuous-release promotion cycle

Job Description:
Serve as a technical expert to Ally business partners in the following technologies: Weblogic, UNIX (Solaris), Apache, Sun One Webserver, Tomcat, and Jboss. Day-to-day duties will include: Act as liaison between development and infrastructure teams to ensure consistency and commonality in technology standards. Provide technical expertise in the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.Keep up to date on technology trends and participate in the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions. May act as a first-level supervisor and review, mentor, and evaluate the performance of individual team members. Determine new methods and develop new procedures for accomplishing work. Provide work direction and assigns tasks to lower-level employees. Identify or create solutions that are likely to contribute to the development of new company concepts. Interface with all levels of management to negotiate engagement priorities and outcomes.
