Job Title: Oracle Fixed Assets Resource

Location: North Dallas, TX

Duration: 12 months

Start after the 1^st of the year

 

We have a client here in North Dallas that needs an Oracle Fixed Assets consultant to assist in a 11i to R12 Conversion.

 

This position will likely be needed for at least 12 months. The client would like to have someone start after the 1^st of the year.

 

Fixed Assets Conversion and Cleanup Resource Business Case

 

Title:
Resource(s) needed to develop and implement a plan for Fixed Assets Conversion and Cleanup in 11i for R12 conversion by the end of 2012.

 

Description:

• Fixed Assets conversion process will need to include modification of categories along with the new IFRS rules requiring assets to be componentized.
• Current Assets will need to be updated, modified and/or eliminated as part of an intense cleanup process.  This will include assessing the componentization, analysis of written-off assets for property tax purposes, analysis of ghost assets, Date Placed in Service analysis and cleanup, Category default cleanup and category mapping, Impairments cleanup, strategy for loading tax books, understanding differences between Tax books and Corp book and Tax Basis differences.
• The additional FTE resource needs to have functional as well as technical experience in the IT area with Oracle Fixed Assets knowledge.  It is preferred that the resource have Oracle Project Accounting and Oracle Accounts Payable knowledge as well.
