Position: Test Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: Full Time or Contract

 

· ONLY FOR US CITIZEN, GC, EAD only.

 

Required Skills:

 

· Possesses at least 3-5 years of banking industry experience required

· Experience on Asset Management

· Possesses at least 3-5 years of testing experience (Integration and UAT) required

· Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks successfully

· Demonstrate ability to gather and document test requirements through formal and informal approaches

· Has worked on a testing team through several successful testing efforts

· Has at least 1+ years of experience with HP Quality Center Tool

· Possesses a university degree/college diploma in Computer Science and/or minimum 3 years systems experience as a functional testing    professional

· Possesses a solid understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics analysis, methodologies, and documentation standards

· CSTE or CSQA Certification would be a great benefit

· Is extremely organized and highly motivated, and can coordinate necessary tasks and resources to complete testing in a short window

· Can work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

· Possesses solid analytical skills for complex problem solving

 

Experience Required:

 

5-7 Years of banking industry experience

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

· Gather Test Cases & Scripts for PAT execution

· Leverage Tool Integration (Quality Center)

· Report Testing Status and Issues on daily basis

  

TESTING/ STATUS/COMMUNICATION

 

· Collaborate with vertical testing team to gather scenarios for horizontal E2E testing

· Validate and ensure all the critical business scenarios are covered as part of the test cases

· Coordinate with business team to plan test windows and secure their time for executing test cases

· Work closely with the project test subject-matter experts from the vertical work streams to formulate test scenarios and document test cases

· Ensure the test cases cover all the aspects of the business requirements and maintain the traceability matrix up to date

· Follow up and ensure all the UAT defects are tracked in the defect management tool

· Review defects raised by business users to ensure they are valid and channel them to the right project team for resolution

· Ensure all defects are resolved , retested and business users sign off on the test phase

· Take ownership of defect and test metrics preparation

· Track, report, and communicate testing progress, status, and defects for the relevant test category

· Participates in defect triage meetings, reviews defect fixes, and validates defect resolution

· Planning for and leading the day to day testing activities for the associated test category

 

TESTING OVERSIGHT (TEMPLATES/TOOLS/TECHNIQUES)

 

· Provide oversight for testing with 3rd party vendors and BMO supported applications

· Ensure incident reporting process and standard required tool usage

 

PROCESS GOVERNANCE

 

· Ensure adherence to  Harris Test Practice structure and satisfaction of ISO Functional Testing requirements for eligible projects

· Verify that all testing documentation is complete and (plans, scripts/cases, pass/fail results) has been stored in the designated location

· Ensure Requirement Traceability across all projects

· Ensure sign off and receive/review/assess Exit deliverables

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
