Job Title: iPhone/iOS Apps Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 1 Year Contract + Extendable
Project: Mobile Tech Support
Job Description
• Develop, test and deploy Verizon iPhone App that interfaces with several backend systems
• Participate in iPhone app development projects and prototyping of varying levels of complexity
• Develop tested code to modify existing architecture and make necessary changes to the system interfaces; and provide Object and Source Code to Verizon, in accordance with Verizon standards utilizing Verizon source and Object Code libraries and Configuration Management procedures. .
• Provide code review, and provide documentation in support thereof, to Verizon.
• Create and provide documents in support of this deliverable to include updated versions of design, process flow diagram, API specification, and error description
Required Skills:
• Working knowledge relating to all aspects of iOS development and deployment
• Experience working with iPhone SDK
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of - Objective C, Cocoa, CSS, XCode, XML
• Developing iPhone/iPad apps with platform specific and custom UI components
• Extensive user interface development experience, particularly on mobile devices
• Experience with web technologies (Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax) and web services
• Understanding of Apple's Human User Interface Guidelines
• Knowledge of stored procedures, XQuery, XHTML, CSS, DHTML, Flex would be an added advantage
• Ability to handle deployment and lead troubleshooting efforts, meeting deadlines
• Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with minimal direction
Education and Experience:
Masters in Computer Science
2+ Years of IOS Experience
5+ Years of Overall Experience
