Description:
Senior PL/SQL developer able to interact with the client teams, create and explain the detailed requirements for the extraction of data from a source system and the transformation and loading of that data into a target system. Extensive experience with Oracle and ORM models is a must as is extensive experience creating test case requirement documentation and the ability to work independently with little direct, day-to-day supervision.
Review, debug and assess quality of the PL/SQL application reporting components within the existing application infrastructure. Document results and interact with client team and take ownership of key deliverables. Extensive interaction with client project managers and technical experts and the ability to coordinate project deliverables and milestones within a complex enterprise application is required.
Required Skills:
· 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL development
o Must be proficient in all aspects of PL/SQL development including the development of stored procedures, consumption of infrastructure related stored procedures as well as industry best practices
· Excellent comprehension with database architectures
· Must have advanced expertise in development and unit testing of automated reports
· Strong PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning of both SQL and databases
· Full life SDLC—requirements gathering, solution design, code and test
· Good UNIX scripting skills
· 2+ years' experience with Oracle 11.x, ORM, TOAD
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener.
· Good organizational skills
· Demonstrated ability to mentor and successfully transfer knowledge.
