Position: SAP WM Consultant

Location: Irvine,CA

Duration: 6+ Months

-->SAP Functional(L2)-Advanced functional expertise in SAP ECC functional module of expertise corresponding to the domain in consideration. Ability to fully map functional requirements and integrate them into the final solution keeping in mind product functional and technical capabilities for large and complex projects. Ability to train advanced users, design, develop and troubleshoot complex landscapes.Has experience across implementation, support, upgrade, migration and consolidation projects and execution methodologies. Is fully conversant with other functional areas and business domains. Ability to develop integrated solutions. Ability to work with senior customer representatives and align technical objectives to business strategy. Contribution to thought leadership in the SAP functional space. Good knowledge of SAP ECC functional modules and other leading ERP products and their capabilities vis a vis SAP.

 

-->SAP Functional(L3)-Highly advanced functional expertise in SAP ECC functional module of expertise and all related core ECC modules corresponding to the domain in consideration.Ability to fully map functional requirements and integrate them into the final solution keeping in mind product functional and technical capabilities for very large and complex projects. Ability to train advanced users, design, develop and troubleshoot complex landscapes. Has experience across implementation,support, upgrade, migration and consolidation projects and methodologies for planning and execution of the same. Is fully conversant with other functional areas and business domains. Ability to develop integrated solutions. Ability to relate to other tech and functional solutions in place in the customer and SAP's place among them. Able to review and add value to integrated solution recommendations from Wipro and customer teams. Established thought leadership in peer and industry fora. Excellent knowledge of SAP and other leading ERP product capabilities and to discuss their pros and cons vis a vis SAP in a meaningful and customer relevant manner.

 

-->SAP WM(L3)-Ability to understand the customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly and able to foresee the likely challenges. Ability to frame the right set of questions for the multiple tracks. Create solution proposals with effort estimation for a chosen project track. And create a solution road map addressing the current and the future needs of the business. Conduct solution architecting workshops with the business managers. Create detailed solution documentation and presentations and implement the solution using the standard solutions in SAP.  Should have at least 4 - 6 years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 3 - 5 years of domain experience.  Able to lead a team and train the team and possess sufficient knowledge of the quality processes and adopted quality standards in projects. Knowledge of the recognized quality tools and Participate in Quality meetings  Demonstrates deep knowledge of Warehouse Management processes and how these processes are treated and configured in SAP WM/EWM. Able to work with customer business teams and Wipro project teams effectively. Should be able to conduct requirement gathering workshops ,map these into SAP processes and identify gaps,  Should know the development processes adopted for custom developments, unit testing,functional testing, integration testing, go-live preparations and going live Should be able to assist in design and configure processes in Warehouse Management ? Goods Receipt and issue processes, Picking and Placement strategies, internal transfers etc. Should have through understanding of Inventory Management in MM and RF integration for WM activities. Need to know core functionalities available in SAP EWM(Extended Warehouse Management)
