JOB FUNCTIONS:-
Our customer is seeking a Network Engineer with minimum of seven years of experience as a network engineer in an operations role - core routing and switching expertise is required.
Responsibilities:
- Respond, troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated by the NOC and internal systems, including developing, implementing and deploying emergency hot fixes within a global network environment with advanced configurations
- Monitor network utilization, capacity, and quality
- Ability to perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical, thorough manner
- Make technical and process recommendations to prevent repeating outages
- Interpret operational data to proactively respond to network events
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks and maintain operational tools
- Work independently within a fast paced environment and deliver results under pressure
Qualifications:
- Minimum seven years experience as a network engineer in a operations role - core routing and switching expertise is required
- Experience configuring and debugging systems running Cisco NX OS, JunOS, and Citrix Netscaler
- Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar configurations and in complex systems
- Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills, particularly as it relates to issue diagnosis and resolution
- Experience with network management applications and related protocols such as SNMP and Netflow
- Experience with common routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Prior experience working in a 24/7 operational environment
- Willing to work days, swing and night shifts on a rotating basis
- CCNA/CCNP is strongly preferred
- NEED LOCALS WHO CAN ATTEND F2F INTERVIEW
