REQ:Business Data Analyst in San Francisco, CA

DURATION: 12 month contract

 

 

US Citizen or green card holder or EAD

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 8-10 in Data Analytics; 7-9 years in banking!

Our client is seeking candidates who fit this profile:
Someone with financial securities and financial instruments background to lead the sourcing requirements and data mapping effort.  Ability to understand the business rules related to variety financial products and translate the business rules requirements to data requirements to source the data from source systems, transform the data from Staging to data Mart with complex transformation and enrich the data using reference and market data.

Skills Required:
·        Customer Facing skills
·        Data Analysis / Data profiling to establish the Data quality Rules
·        Integration Data Mapping experience and the ability to define the data requirements
·        Ability to develop the data lineage spreadsheets from existing system/tactical solution.
·        Excellent SQL sills to write the data queries to test and validate the transformations and Businesss rules
·        Wholesale and Retail Deposits Debt
·        Must have SQL and Excel and being able to search data from various sources.
·        Must have good financial product knowledge, i.e:  data repositories, equities, debt instrument

Musts:  

·         Data Analysis: Lineage (investigate and establish)

·         Translate business requirements into data flows

·         Define Mapping; Interpret business rules - define transformations

Subject Area Expertise:  

·         Financial systems background in banking/investments/accounting

·         Data Warehousing/Analytics/Reporting

·         Relational and multidimensional databases

Data Technology:

·         Strong SQL (read/write/interpret)

·         MS Excel; PL/SQL T-STL - (read/interpret) -- good to have
