Skills Required and Job Description:
| MOI:Telephonic Must be a lead and be either a C#/.Net person with SAP exp OR an SAP person with a C#/.Net
development background. This is a lead position so this person will be doing a little less of
the day to day coding and more of the leading and training and mentoring of others. Principal Systems Developer Description This position is responsible for acting as an internal consultant providing technical guidance or experience on the most complex systems projects. - Leads the creation or modification of existing programs or modules including the design, coding/configuration, testing, installation and technical support.
- Supports and maintains existing software by troubleshooting processes and identifying and resolving problems.
- Evaluates and recommends solutions for complex business and system opportunities
- Provides solutions to problems relating to both customer and problem support
- Researches and develops projects and initiatives
- Leads teams and mentors less experienced developers
- Plans projects and estimates work requirements
- Acts as a consultant to others for standards, best practices, methodology, deliverables, and technology direction
- Conducts the appropriate reviews of technical systems including, but not limited to, the design, development, testing, problem resolution, and documentation to maintain system integrity
- Provides direction to and works with developer staff, customers (internal & external), and contractors as a subject matter expert of SAP and/or .NET technology functionality
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of System Development Life Cycle processes and is able to apply the processes of The Company usage, need, and requirements
- Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Information Services (CIS) or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Years of Related Experience: Typically 7 or more years related experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of SAP and/or .NET and systems development principles theories and concepts; solid interpersonal and communication skills;
- Advanced proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook;
- Basic problem solving skills;
- Intermediate proficiency with numeric data analysis;
- Basic understanding of all technologies and platforms (i.e. the combination of SAP modules relational databases programming environments and business systems) solid understanding of the business process and business objectives of more than one business unit;
- Solid understanding of established software development life cycle.
