One of our Direct client is looking for a Sr. Java Developer with Quants Experience in Financial Domain
Job description :
EXPERIENCE: 9+ years
The ideal candidate is a strong, senior technologist, preferably with
experience building large scale enterprise-quality applications in
Java, interested in learning about finance, with experience managing
and delivering projects, willing to work in a fluid, fast-paced
environment.
Skills Required:
Development experience on challenging, technical projects in Java
Ability to pick up new skills quickly
Perl or Ksh experience
Hands-on experience with a relational database (building queries and
stored procedures) Sybase preferred
Understanding of fundamentals of threading, object-oriented design,
design patterns, Spring
Good verbal communication skills (Ability to explain difficult
concepts for example)
Important skills Required:
- Core Java
- Multi threading
- Exception handling
- Java Collection Framework
- Scripting languages like JavaScript / Perl
- Sybase database
