- Builds, deploys, troubleshoots, implements and documents internally and externally developed software across multiple development, test and production software environments.
- Troubleshoots issues with existing and developed systems and works with appropriate teams across multiple organizations to resolve, document and prevent recurrences. Modifies tracks and managers internal configuration of software applications.
- Works with other engineering organizations to procure, build, maintain and patch infrastructure to support new and existing applications.
- Leads innovation in technologies and processes to improve SCM practices for all supported applications.
- Leads teams of Software Configuration Engineers to analyze, develop, implement, and maintain automated software configuration and release practices.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in related area and 5-7 years of experience in the field or related area.
- Expert in a variety of related concepts, practices and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment and leadership skills to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated software engineering and release management tasks.
