Description: - Carolinas HealthCare System is seeking an experienced Microsoft .Net C# Developer to participate in the development and implementation of strategic custom applications.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, able to react quickly and demonstrated success in delivering quality, high performing applications. They will also need to exhibit the ability to deliver integrated solutions between applications and products. - Interfaces with Operations to ensure procedures are followed, updated and implemented.
- Implements, supports, and tracks LaserArc applications and helps monitor Tivoli.
- Contributes to team effort by sharing of knowledge, offering assistance, and demonstrating initiative.
- Recommends and implements solutions for problems with the team.
- Demonstrates ability to identify and understand business impact of decisions made to fulfill customer expectations.
- Work is subject to high-level visibility through exposure to CHS Administration. This position will require high degree of proficiency in verbal and written communications. Must be available for callback support on a regular basis. This position requires evening and weekend hours at times for conversions training due to schedules. Employee does not have direct patient contact. Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience developing high-volume secure internet and intranet applications using the C# .Net Framework 4.0 and MVC
- Experience in leveraging the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) architecture
- SharePoint 2010 custom development including web parts and workflows
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML/DHTML, XML/XSLT/SOAP/WSDL and C#
- Knowledge of HTML5
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Reporting Services and SSIS
- Experience working with a SDLC structured software engineering methodology and object oriented frameworks
- Experience around session and state management, secure coding, caching design, performance and scalability considerations
- Experience with K2 Black Pearl is a plus
