Description: - Our client is seeking a .NET System Analyst/Developer who have experience developing solutions for complex business processes in high volume systems.
- We need people who can work collaboratively with business users to gather requirements, design and develop solutions and estimate the scope of the project(s) through delivery.
- Some experience as a team or project lead would also be valuable.
Qualified candidates will have experience with the following technologies: - VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET 3.5 & 4.0 Framework, Visual Studio 2008 / 2010, Tibco Integration framework, TFS, WCF, Web Services, SSRS, LINQ, Telerik Controls, Silverlight, SQL 2008, and Oracle, experience with implementing Design Patterns, Advance Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Object Oriented Development (OOAD) development techniques.
- The technologists we are seeking to design and implement systems must have worked in large organizations having executed development of large systems (design and code involving large volumes of data (10s of millions of rows of data) along with Big Data analytics.
- Advance experience with applications that stored the business logic in the .NET layer (business layer).
Responsibilities: - Systems design and implementation of custom solutions for a fast growing company.
- Delivery of systems functionality to support forecasting, billing and other financial support operations
- Work with the company's data supported by wholesale market providers
- Support the full lifecycle of the company's operations which will include Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions between distribution company sources and the company.
- Bring ideas to execution by designing cutting edge, performance oriented business automation solutions.
- Code / develop enterprise applications using Microsoft based technologies, including VB6.0, VB.NET & SQL Server 2000 & 2008
- Research, develop and implement innovative transaction processing technologies and solutions for solving complex enterprise-scale business problems
- Test,document and support the systems. Review test plans and scenarios to help ensure an accurate, effective product and participate in functional and system testing as needed, identifying and documenting system deficiencies and recommending new methodology
- Work with team members to estimate development and testing time in an Agile team environment ensuring that projects are delivered on time with a high level of quality
Education:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science or Systems Analysis
Experience:
5-7 years of work experience in the job duties required.
Job Skills: - Must have C# experience
- Tibco Business Works is a plus
- Knowledge of application lifecycle development is a plus
- Good project management skills
- Skilled in organizing information based on reviewing meeting notes, specifications, interviewing clients, architects and developers
