Job Title : Build  Engineer With Opscode Chef Exp
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 3+Months

 

Role Description:
Develop fully automated deployment processes using Opscode Chef and other scripts
Maintain Opscode Chef cookbooks and recipes
Drive increase efficiency and effectiveness in the deployment scripts
Develop comprehensive code comment and code documentation
Knowledge sharing and cross train teammates

 

Skills Required:
Knowledge in Infrastructure automation, infrastructure as software concept
Knowledge in Private Opscode Chef architecture
Proficient in Opscode Chef Recipes and Cookbooks development
Working knowledge of the following software
Opscode Chef, Jenkins
Yum, Nexus, Artifactory
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Independent contributor and motivated self-learner and team player

 

Additional Skills:
Working knowledge of Middlesware ( e.g. Weblogic Application Server )
Working knowledge of Linux operating system
Working knowledge of Oracle database
Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Ant, Unix Shell, Python )
Working knowledge of Java development processes

 

Additional Info:
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
