Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: Telephone + Face to Face C# Developer   Client is looking for an experienced developer to assist with the design, implementation and support of our Policy, Claim and Loan systems. Analyze requirements and design, code, test, install and maintain application systems, programs, functions, services and other related software components in response to enterprise needs of moderate to high complexity.  Duties: Analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity and risk  Design/develop system, application and program code according to business and technical requirements  Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality objectives Implement solutions  Provide system support  Maintain and enhance knowledge of the business operations and strategic imperatives of Assurant Know the critical success factors supporting the Client Core Purpose, Mission, Goals and Strategy Participation in on-call services for production and critical test applications is required The Software Engineer may work independently but will more likely participate in development tasks within a team setting.  In both cases, work of significant complexity and risk may be executed under the mentoring guidance of senior technical personnel Required skills: Strong database development skills with SQL Server 2005 or higher, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexes etc. Oracle or other databases can be considered as well SSIS/SSRS Strong OOPS concepts - 8+ years working on .NET C#/ ASP.NET 3.5 - 4.0 Experience with developing multi-tiered Enterprise applications Nice to have: Web services (WCF) XML, XSLT, AJAX, JavaScript Master Pages Experience in working in a Team Environment and a source control tool, preferably TFS Experience with Testing tools
