| MOI:- Telephonic Only The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide support, maintenance and development of SAP SD processes and transportation interfaces on behalf of the (BMS) business within the global SAP environment. The incumbent will participate as a global team member providing troubleshooting expertise for Peregrine incident tickets from the USA, Mexico and Brazil, along with performing ABAP and/or configuration changes as required.
Technical Skills - Strong understanding of the SAP Sales and Distribution business process – order creation through invoicing and shipping - Basic understanding of SD configuration areas - Knowledge of ABAP performance tuning skills and debugging - Knowledge and experience with SAP development environment - Excellent understanding of the database tables and transactions in the SD order-to-cash process - Knowledge of Idoc processing Other Position Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field, plus 4-6 years applicable business experience - Proficient in SAP/ABAP (preferred) - Well organized, results oriented and able to tackle difficult problems with minimum supervision - Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams - Excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills with the ability to recommend alternate solutions and accurate estimates - Ability to execute assignments of medium to high complexity without being given complete details on the required solution - Ability to perform comprehensive unit and integration testing with limited supervision - Strong organizational, verbal & written communication skills - Strong customer service focus - Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative with excellent follow-up skills - Excellent documentation skills - Ability to learn new and potentially complicated business processes - Must have previous experience on production support Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in SAP ABAP - Design and configuration experience in SAP SD module – pricing, output determination, transportation, and SD master data. |
