Work Experience
· Minimum of 7 years specialized experience in the development and management of telecommunications systems and services in a large multinational organization or in a large international telecommunication services provider.
Skills and languages
· Thorough understanding of telecommunication principles and knowledge of current technological developments in the telecommunications field.
· Strong analytical skills to evaluate and apply innovative technological solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
· Experience in satellite communications technologies, IP Telephony, PABX Systems, TCP/IP protocols and IP networks.
· Experience in roll-out of new products and services. Specific experience in IP Telephony and unified communication services delivery is considered an advantage for this position.
· Strong project management skills and proven track record of successfully managing large scale projects.
· Ability to work independently, make day-to-day decisions without consulting supervisor, and prioritize work.
· Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of staff and with outside suppliers and service providers.
· Analytical, creative and practical approach in problem solving
· Proficiency in application of Microsoft Office and related tools
· Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
· Proficiency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of French or Spanish would be an asset
