Position: MicroStrategy Developer

Location: Washington D.C. area

Duration: 3-4 Weeks (The resource does not have to be local to the DC area - they can do the work remote - with an initial visit to the client site.)

 

The MicroStrategy Developer will be responsible for:
· Design and development of complex dashboards containing reports and charts targeted to the web.
· Design and Development of logical data models and data warehouse schemas
· Design and development of schema objects
· Conducting System testing on all reports and dashboards
· Supporting testing, as well as migration and deployment to production environment

Qualifications
 
Required Technical Experience
· 2 years of experience designing and developing both Web and Mobile MicroStrategy dashboard and reporting solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. MicroStrategy 9.x preferred.
· 1+ years administering MicroStrategy environments using Object Manager, Enterprise Manager and other tools
· 2 years of experience developing and designing SQL Server database solutions including the design of database schemas, stored procedures and views
· 3 years of experience working on Business Intelligence initiatives.
Preferred Technical Experience
· Experience with custom development using the MicroStrategy SDK
· Experience in multiple languages including C#, Java, ASP.NET and JavaScript
· Experience designing and developing SQL Server Analysis Services solutions
· Experience with customer segmentation and channel analysis
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
