Hi,   We at eSystems are looking for a Cognos Resources in Muscatine, Iowa. Please reply with your updated word format resume as soon as possible.   Position: LEAD Cognos Resources Location: Muscatine, Iowa Duration: 1 years   Job Description and Required Skills:   Onshore Cognos Lead (Iowa) COGNOS Lead: Extensive experience in Report Studio and other Cognos Studios (Analysis, Query, Event) along with strong modeling skills (Cubes, FM model/Highly complex DMRs).  Experience in Cognos 8 BI to Cognos 10 environment Hands-on and proven leadership experience with aspects of the Data Warehouse lifecycle including data analysis, data modeling & design (preferably using STAR schema approach). Solid understanding of transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM and ETL methodologies. Technical assessment of current infrastructure, design and implementation of scalable platform to support growing demand of users and processes. Proficient in Agile/Scrum development methodology. Hands-on experience in designing and building enterprise portal, reports and analytics with professional report building software packages such as Cognos, Business Objects, etc.,  Must have a high comfort level with report terminology and concepts such as drill-down, roll-up, aggregation, etc. Proficient withCognos 8 and 10 (Framework Manager, Transformer, Metrics Server, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Query Studio, TM1, Business Insight, Go Mobile) and expertise in tuning reports performance to meet the service levels. Design and develop data models. Proficient in Data Modeling tools like ERWin or Embarcadero.  Develop SQL DML and DDL statements and stored procedures in Oracle environment. Proficient in DWH and ETL design. Create ETL jobs to source data from various source systems and heterogeneous databases (Oracle, SQLServer, etc.,).  Proficient in ETL tools such as Data Manager, Informatica etc., and Oracle 11g database Automate and tune daily ETL batch process.
