Job Description:
Business Justification: With Shared Services Reporting project, there is a need for an additional engineer to help meet the demand to convert Informatica workflows to Talend and develop new Talend workflows.
• Work with Business Analysts in transitioning from requirements to design.
• Work with Software Engineers to implement requirements.
• Responsible for software development including software, unit test plans, unit testing, QA support and post-release support
• Deliverables:
o Analysis and design packages (sequence diagrams, workflow analysis, data model, etc.)
o Code conforming to documented standards
o Unit test documentation
o Release documentation
o Estimates/Tracking actual to estimated effort
Other Important Notes: Skill sets required:
• General application development (7+ years)
• Talend (2-3 years preferred)
• Oracle/SQL (4–6 years)
• Java (4-6 years)
• Familiarity with integrating data from various sources (flat files, databases, web services)
• Data Modeling (2-3 years)
• Unix/Linux shell scripting (1-2 years)
• Informatica
