Job Description:
The Business Analyst will be supporting the independent testing of Web-based NLR (National Level Repository) GUI, with z/Linux, WebSphere, and DB2 at the backend. The Business Analyst will be responsible for development of Test Plans, Test Cases, and ensuring the traceability of Business and System Requirements in Test Plans. The BA will maintain testing artifacts in QC and work closely with the NLR Testing Specialists to ensure all tests are executed and documented in accordance with CMMI Level 3 processes. Types of testing include the Functional Acceptance testing, User Acceptance Testing, End-to-end Testing, Performance Testing and Regression Testing. The Business Analyst will collaborate with the requirements and application development teams to ensure the success of the testing process. Requirements will be maintained in the DOORS.
Required Skills & Yrs of experience:
- Bachelors Degree or AA with 3-5 yrs of health care experience,
- 3-5 yrs of Business Analysis experience involving test case development,
- Good analytical and problem solving skills,
- Good interpersonal skills required to work with various players in the NLR program
- Able to understand interpret business and system requirements,
- Good communication skills
- Can work independently with minimum to no guidance
- Good documentation skills
- Prior experience with Quality Center and DOORs
Desired Skills & Yrs of Experience Prior testing experience:
SQL knowledge is a plus
XML knowledge is a plus
DB2 experience is a plus
Mainframe experience is a plus
Medicare knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of programming languages and/or concepts.
Additional Information for Recruiting � Must be willing to work in Columbia
- Must be self-starter willing and capable of working with little to no oversight/direction
- Experience on large, complex project, is desired
