Job Description:

Role: Core Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for designing and developing software applications, unit testing, debugging new and/or existing software, performance tuning and optimization of existing code.

* Provide expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design documentation

* Responsible for development, build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business requirement documents

* Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.

* Collaborates with Project Managers and technical architects to provision estimates, develop overall solution plan

* Managing and following the tools that are used for scrum

* Strong skill on process improvement and cross project coordination

 

Qualifications and skills to perform the Services:

* 5+ years technology development related experience

* Proficient in Java

*  Linux(Ubuntu)

* Experience in Scala is added advantage and expected.

* Demonstrated knowledge of the following core technologies/platforms : object-oriented analysis and design pattern principles, Java, J2EE, Javascript, Spring, Hibernate, C#/.NET, SQL, Eclipse, CSS, XHTML, Ajax.

* Strong knowledge on Agile project management

* Knowledge and experience in Test Automation and Test Driven Development

* Scripting skills - Shell (bash, ksh, csh).

* Working knowledge of any database (MySQL or MongoDB) – Nice to have skills.
