Job Title:  Java Programmer

 

ONLY GC or Citizen
F2F Preferred
 

DURATION: 6+months

DESCRIPTION:

• 5 years developing and supporting Java applications in open systems technologies
• 5 years  Object Oriented Design and Object Oriented programming skills
• Strong ANSI SQL foundation. 
• Must have excellent programming  and testing skills in Java and related technologies
• Must have strong analytic and problems solving skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Some understanding and experience with project life cycle
• Some experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project)

Optional skills but a plus:

• Software certification such as Sun Certified Java Programmer(SCJP) or SUN Certified Java Developer (SCJD) or MQ Java Certification
• Experience working in an IBM MQ  Websphere environment
• Experience with Pega Rules Process Commander
• Experience with DB2, Oracle or Teradata using JDBC
• Insurance experience preferable with a Blue plan.
