REQ: DataStage Developer in St. Louis, MO. 

Duration: 1 to 2 years

 

US Citizen or green card holder is required due to client requirements.

 

 

Job Description:

·         ETL development and production support using IBM Datastage 8.5 or higher

·         Experience with Oracle RDBMS 11g

·         Experience with Teradata 13x and above

·         4+ years in UNIX scripting, FTP and basic network principles

·         4+ years of SQL Coding and querying skills

·         4+ years of experience in testing, debugging skills and troubleshooting support and development issues

·         Experience in testing for a 24/7 Data Warehouse

·         4+ years of solid hands-on experience in using IBM Data Stage with ETL and SQL for Oracle and Teradata

·         Experience in Integration of various data sources like Teradata and Oracle

·         Strong experience in writing database procedures, functions and fine-tuning SQL for performance optimization

·         Understand Data Stage clustering architecture and parallel jobs

·         Intimate knowledge in combine/sort/aggregate/transform data

·         Able to create reusable objects and job templates

·         Schedule, compile, and run Data Stage jobs efficiently

·         Self-starter, proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables

·         Demonstrate strong analytical/problem solving skills

·         Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to write consistent, clear and accurate documentation

·         Performance tuning with DataStage and Teradata
