Description:

The job requirements are as follows:

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in database administration, information systems, or equivalent technical environment, including previous experience supporting highly transactional, mission critical systems is preferred.  

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in database development.

Excellent knowledge of data structures and database management systems.

Excellent knowledge of a broad spectrum of infrastructure technologies and secure computing environments: network, hardware and operating systems, servers and storage.

Excellent understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and relational application design and development.

Experience with TSQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, etc. 

Skills:

Advanced proficiency with:

The following database systems: MS SQL Server

Database monitoring, tuning and optimization tools.

Database reporting, analytic and query tools and interfaces.

Database back-up technologies and tools.

Exceptional analytical skills.

Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and demeanor.

Strong leadership skills.

Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Abilities:

Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and perform after hours support, as needed.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
