Position         : Oracle Database Administration Consultant
Location        : Dallas, Texas
Experience Req: 10 yrs

Technical Skills Required:

  Minimum 10+ years of strong Oracle Database experience with Consulting, Advisory and Implementation roles
·Good hands-on-experience with Solaris & Linux OS
·Good knowledge on Industry standard tools used for Database Administration, Performance, Ticketing. (e.g. Oracle Grid Control, BMC Proactive Net/Patrol, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter etc.)
·Strong in Architecture/Implementation of HA Solution such as RAC, Data Guard, Replication, Streams etc.
·Backup & Recovery strategy and implementation using native/industry standard tools RMAN, Tape Management Tools (LSM, TSM etc.)
·Strong troubleshooting skills
·Well versed in scripting and automation (Shell Scripting, SQL & PL/SQL)
·Assessment & Implementation experience in Consolidation, Upgrade and Virtualization
·Database Build experience
·Security Compliance and Auditing Management experience
·Database Modeling – Physical/Logical using tools such as ERWIN/Power Designer
·Database Benchmarking
·Trend Analysis for Performance optimization
·Capacity Planning (Headroom Analysis, What-If Analysis etc.)
