Need Only USC, GC, EAD-GC Key Responsibilities - Develop solution design specifications - Design and model program/code requirements for an integrated software product or system that supports re-use, change, and integration of various components - Convert requirements to functional requirements to develop written software code that is accessible, usable, efficient, re-usable, cost-effective, and maintainable - Construct applications which meet or exceed requirements, promote re-use of software components, and facilitate ease of support - Conduct unit tests, component integration tests, systems and acceptance testing, correcting problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements - Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics, and utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools - Prepare or provide input to written documentation for technical methods, procedures, functions, or processes to support the installation, operations, training, and maintenance of information technology systems or applications - Provide solution development resources and cost estimates
Basic Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering - 8+ years of experience is software development in Microsoft .NET technology stack - Development experience with .NET 3.5 and above, including - Strong C# OO skills - LINQ and Lambda Expressions - Delegates and Events - Multi-Threading and Task Parallel Library - Reflection and/or Managed Extensibility Framework - WCF / Web services - WPF - ASP.NET - XML - Strong capabilities with SQL Server - Knowledgeable of advanced design patterns and models - Experience with Object-Relational Mapping, preferably NHibernate - Experience with Dependency Injection, preferably Castle Windsor - Knowledge on the fundamental concepts of Test Driven Development and Mocking framework - Ability to work effectively in an agile/Scrum environment - Understanding of the full life cycle software development processes - Working knowledge of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
Preferred Requirements: - Understanding of Retail environment and daily operations
