This position proactively seeks opportunities and provides technical expertise to apply appropriate specialized technical applications, products, and tools to support workforce efficiency projects & initiatives including all necessary integration, configuration, installation, implementation, and technical support. The incumbent will advise internal technical staff and business users as well as external customers, business partners, stakeholders, and vendor staff on specialized applications, products, and tools regarding product capabilities, requirements, and potential uses. The incumbent will utilize specialized technical skills to recommend, design, configure, and implement automated applications, products, and tools across the enterprise to address business needs; define solutions and application design; map technical application, product, and tool capabilities to business needs and requirements; assist with developing policies, guidelines, and standards for utilizing specialized applications, products, and tools to support the full implementation stages of new processes.
Competencies Required:
Requires broad technical knowledge and understanding covering solution design and development utilizing specialized products and tools such as: - Programming Languages: C#,VB.net, ASP, VBScript
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server
- Middleware: Enterprise Service Bus
- Platforms: Windows, Unix
- Specialized applications, products, and tools, including COTS products, that support Document Imaging, Automated Workflow, e-Forms, Automated Correspondence, Business Rules Management, etc.
- Other: Active Directory, Enterprise Architecture and application monitoring and alerting
Enterprise Content Management System Administration Exp
Maintains up-to-date knowledge and expertise with the OnBase product suite.
Supports OnBase customers by, participating in regular meetings with the user community, reviewing processes and procedures brought to the team for review.
Analyzes impact of new standards, procedures, OnBase software releases or network configuration changes.
Provides technical, expertise and direction in developing OnBase application architecture, technical standards, data models, and technical application design strategies
Works closely with the Enterprise Architecture Office to design and maintain a stable architecture for all OnBase applications including platforms, web server, protocols, firewalls, and middle ware.
Ensures that OnBase applications have minimal downtime or service interruptions.
Resolves technical defects and responds to technical inquiries within designated time period.
Promotes enterprise adoption of OnBase to support agency initiatives
Provides third level support for hardware and software issues and configurations for both desktop and servers (scanners, rimage, prostore, all other items that make up the WEG software and hardware suites)
