Job Title: Sr Mainframe Developer

Location: Madison WI

Duration: Long Term

 

Description:

·         Client has custom mainframe applications in the aforementioned functional areas using COBOL, SAS, CICS, JCL, DB2 and IMS technologies.

·         Environmental tools: Platinum, Move for DB2, ChangeMan, Control-M and Control-D.

·         Other tools or technologies: Web services, DB2 SyncSort, and Co:Z Batch.

·         Significant development experience in the above mainframe tools and technologies is required.

·         Developer experience with financials, procurement, HR/payroll and budget is also required.

·         PeopleSoft experience is highly desired.

·         Also has web applications using Java, VB, xml, web services and stored procedures. Development experience in the above web technical areas is desired.

·         Candidates must have superior communication and organizational skills.

·         Business Analyst skills are required.

Qualification

Development and Support of CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe Systems:                      10 Yrs

Develop Functional Requirements                                                                                                        5+ Yrs.

Develop use Case Scenarios                                                                                                                   5+ Yrs.

Experienced project manager or leader                                                                                                3+ Yrs.

Use of Changeman, CNTL-M, Tivoli, or similar tracking mechanism                                  3+ Yrs.

Changeman                                                                                                                                           10+ Yrs.

Knowledge of Financial accounting systems.                                                                                 5+ Yrs.

Design User Interfaces and subsystems                                                                                           10+ Yrs.

SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, Fileaid, QMF Tools or Equivalent                                                         8+ Yrs.
