Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face The Environmental Management Information System (EMIS) is being upgraded to become a better environmental management tool for the Environmental Health & Safety organization at Client. This .Net 1.1 application utilizing Crystal Reports version 10 is an in-house developed application. It is being upgraded to improve business processes through enhanced functionality as well as incorporating other EH&S applications. The application will utilize .Net 4.5 and either SQL Server 2008r2 or 2012 as the database. The Crystal Reports will be replaced by Telerik or SSRS reports. The selected contractor will need to get a working knowledge of the current application, follow the SDLC process , understand the business requirements, assist in the design and build of the new application, test and implement the final solution. He or she will also be required to participate in user requirement and regular status meetings as well as presentations to management. The successful candidate may also be asked to work on other EH&S applications if the need arises. This work would be separate from the upgrade project but would return to the upgrade project as the primary scope of work. Skills & Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of work experience as programmer/analyst - Must have 5 years of Web and Report design and development experience - Required experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio 2008 or greater - Must have experience in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and JQuery - Must have experience in ASP.NET MVC, Linq and Entity Framework - Required experience with Crystal Reports, Telerik Reports or SSRS - Must have excellent MS SQL Server skills - Must be well organized, able to work with minimal supervision and be detail oriented - Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have an ability to effectively interact with customers, support staff, and various levels of management The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate. The following additional skills are preferable:   - Microsoft Project and Office experience is a plus - Familiarity with environmental or safety related applications is also a plus - Familiarity with Kendo UI and JQuery UI - Familiarity with creating and managing SSIS packages
