Position: Storage Engineer

Location: Cleveland, OH

Type: Contract

Max Rate : 45$/hr

 

Job Description :

• Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, Server 2008, 2012, Linux, Cisco IOS
·        data storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Fiber Channel)
·        converged fabrics running on Cisco Nexus products
·        Fiber Channel encapsulations (FCoE, FCoIP
·         enterprise level backup, COOP and disaster/recovery design in VMware environments
·         NAS and SAN to include the benefits and limitations of each
·        FalconStor IPStor Storage Virtualization.
·        Multipathing and High Availability
·        NFS and Unix account management/file permissions
·        SAN specific experience on Hitachi (FC), Nimbus, IQStor, or other Enterprise grade disk arrays.
·        FC Zoning, Device Aliases and FC troubleshooting
·        TCP/IP networking
